June 14, 2025: No Kings Protest in Baltimore

I wasn’t planning to speak that day.

I had no notice. No prep. No polished talking points.

But when they opened the mic at the No Kings protest in Baltimore, I immediately sat down and started typing.

Ten minutes later—with my heart pounding, the adrenaline pumping, and shaking like a leaf on a twig—I got up and raised my voice.

About the military photos that were deleted.
About the museum exhibits being censored.
About our nation’s history that’s being erased.

And about how Visual Truth Matters is fighting back.

It took every ounce of courage in my body.
And it’s taking just as much to post this video.

But rewriting history is the oldest trick in the fascist playbook.
And silence is not an option.
