June 14, 2025: No Kings Protest in Baltimore

𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆.

I had no notice. No prep. No polished talking points.

But when they opened the mic at the hashtag#NoKings protest in Baltimore, I immediately sat down and started typing.

Ten minutes later—with my heart pounding, the adrenaline pumping, and shaking like a leaf on a twig—I got up and raised my voice.

About the military photos that were deleted.
About the museum exhibits being censored.
About our nation’s history that’s being erased.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸.

It took every ounce of courage in my body.
And it’s taking just as much to post this video.

But rewriting history is the oldest trick in the fascist playbook.
And silence is not an option.
